With three daughters and a wife at home, Paul doesn’t get to be the boss much, but since joining Moe's Southwest Grill in 2008 he has led the team to achieve unprecedented growth. This Johnson & Wales University grad, who once dreamed of becoming a chef, has held leadership positions for companies like SSP America, FoodBrand LLC and Host Marriott Service Corporation. When he is not visiting with Moe’s franchisees, you're likely to find him coaching or playing lacrosse.
Paul MacalusoChief Marketing Officer
With more than 20 years of operations and marketing experience with brands like Sonic, Burger King and Taco Bell, PMac brings a wealth of knowledge, and a few pairs of roller skates, to his role at Moe’s Southwest Grill. Being that his favorite flick is “The Incredibles,” he’s not scared to blow your mind when it comes to menu strategy, advertising quality and team leadership. He’s got three kids, two degrees (from Florida State University) and one secret recipe (that's not a metaphor – he makes a mean made-from-scratch pasta sauce).
Scott ShotterVice President of Operations
Scott has come a long way since his breakdancing days under the pseudonym “Freeze.” Today this Johnson & Wales University grad oversees the training, operations, customer service and POS teams at Moe’s. He and his team are focused on guest satisfaction, improving the unit-level economics, improving the speed of service and increasing sales while jamming out to Scott’s insanely eclectic music mix. As runner-up for the Class Clown award, Scott brings a third-to-none sense of humor to his role, as well as operations experience managing 120 locations for more than 30 brands, including Burger King, Starbucks and Subway.
Steve ParkerChief Development Officer
As a guitar-playing, ex-professional musician (rock star in his mind), Steve has a love for creativity and teamwork. Upon graduation from the University of Kentucky, he harnessed that passion and scored design and construction leadership positions with Marriott, Host Marriott Services and SSP America. He may not play the guitar for Moe’s, but when it comes to creating an inviting restaurant environment for our guests and supporting our franchise partners, Steve is a rock star.
Pat PetersonExecutive Chef
Pat brings more than 20 years of culinary experience to the role. Most recently, he worked with Lime Fresh Mexican Grill (a Ruby Tuesday’s concept) and served as their vice president of culinary & beverage. In his spare time, he and his wife, Sharona, enjoy hiking, camping and spending time with their family. They are the proud parents of four children: Paisley (25), Delle (21), Mira (8) and Liam (5).
Steve CorpVice President of Franchise Sales
Ironically, the guy with the loudest voice in the office is known as the “cat burglar” (one look at his winter get-up and you’ll know why). With years of sales experience, Corp is an expert at building relationships and helping others reach their goals. If you’re interested in multi-unit franchise development, he’s your guy. If you’re interested in listening to pop music, watch out! You’re sure to get an earful about how much better New Zealand rock is.
Jim lives and breathes numbers, which is great for the brand, but not so much for anybody who joins him at the poker table. Jim oversees the accounting and finance departments and keeps the budget in check while occasionally taking a break to chow down on a chicken Joey – streaker style. Since graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Jim has had two kids and worked for Gannett Co., Inc., AOL/Time Warner, and Delta Technology.
Brad CameronDirector, Financial Planning & Analysis
In between home improvement projects, this HGTV star hopeful is managing the financial planning and analysis for Moe’s. Prior to joining Moe’s, the diehard University of Michigan fan did accounting and finance for Outback Steakhouse® and Bonefish Grill® while developing a love for his favorite TV show, “The Big Bang Theory.” Brad graduated from the University of South Florida around the same time he started his bathroom renovation project. He’ll get to finishing it eventually...
