Moe's Supports JDRF
Moe's Southwest Grill is a proud supporter of JDRF.
As the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide, JDRF has funded more than $1.7 billion for research since its inception dedicated to curing, treating and preventing the disease. Money will be raised both on the national and local scale through franchise partner participation.
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can strike at any age, and can be fatal. Until a cure is found, people with type 1 diabetes have to test their blood sugar and give themselves insulin injections multiple times or use a pump – each day, every day of their lives.
People with diabetes must carefully balance their food intake and exercise to regulate blood sugar levels, which is why having options when dining out is so important. Food at Moe's Southwest Grill is not cooked in microwaves, and does not contain animal fat, lard or MSG. Moe's offers guests nothing but the best with over 20 fresh ingredients including all natural chicken, 100% grass-fed sirloin steak, steroid-free, grain-fed pork and even organic tofu. There are more than 20 gluten-intolerant friendly ingredients and all meals are fully customizable.
