Moe’s Southwest Grill is proud to be a national charitable partner and supporter of JDRF.

We at Moe’s take a lot of pride in being able to help out those who help others. For the last few years, we’ve partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) on a national level and raised a lot of money. As the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide, JDRF has funded more than $1.7 billion since its inception for research dedicated to curing, treating and preventing the disease. Money is raised both on the national and local scale through franchisee participation.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can strike at any age and can be fatal. Until a cure is found, people with type 1 diabetes have to test their blood sugar and give themselves insulin injections multiple times or use a pump – every day of their lives.

People with diabetes must carefully balance their food intake and exercise to regulate blood sugar levels, which is why having options when dining out is so important. Food at Moe’s Southwest Grill is not cooked in microwaves and does not contain animal fat, lard or MSG. Moe's offers guests nothing but the best with more than 20 fresh ingredients, including all-natural chicken, grass-fed steak, grain-fed pork and organic tofu. There are more than 20 gluten-friendly ingredients, and all meals are fully customizable.

If there’s another cause that you’re trying to raise money for, such as a little league or high school sports team, church group, cheerleading squad or parent/teacher organization, please contact the manager at the Moe’s restaurant near you. It’s amazing how much excitement and generosity can be produced when awesome burritos are involved.
