    Moe's Southwest Grill® Celebrates 15 Years Anniversary #CincodeMoes

    April 21, 2015

Welcome to Moe’s!® Moe’s Southwest Grill®, the fast-casual restaurant best known for creating delicious burritos to order with fresh, flavorful ingredients, is celebrating 15 years in the business of rolling burritos with a “throwback” to the year 2000 for this year’s Cinco de Moe’s.

In honor of their 15th anniversary, Moe’s is encouraging guests to throw it back to the days of frosted tip hair styles, butterfly clips, and bedazzled bellbottom jeans. The first guests in line at all participating Moe’s locations will receive a free Cinco de Moe’s t-shirt, available while supplies last.

“Cinco de Moe’s has become a highly-anticipated day of celebration for all of our customers across the country,” said Lauren Barash, Senior Director of Marketing for Moe’s. “After 15 years of successfully rolling burritos and hosting Cinco de Moe’s celebrations, we’re honored to have such a loyal following. We look forward to continued innovation and growth as we strive to offer our customers the best food and guest experience known to man.”

There are three things Moe’s newbies should know: the crew will cry “welcome to Moe’s” when you walk in the door (don’t be jolted – it’s normal), the most popular burrito is lovingly called the Homewrecker, and Moe’s Famous Queso is famous for a reason.

Each meal is created-to-order in a way that is as unique as the people Moe’s serves. With honestly good ingredients like all-natural chicken, grass-fed steak, organic tofu and handcrafted guacamole, Moe’s offers a wide variety of options to meet guest’s unique tastes and lifestyle. And no matter the meal, guests can always count on getting free chips and salsa.

Speaking of salsa, Moe’s has livened-up the salsa bar with the introduction of its new Smokin’ Hot Chipotle salsa and its Pineapple Cucumber salsa. The Smokin’ Hot Chipotle Salsa has fresh tomatoes blended with chipotle puree, diced onions and jalapenos, and a serious kick of fiery spices. The Pineapple Cucumber Salsa, brought back by popular demand, is a combination of sweet and savory with chunks of pineapple, diced cucumbers, jalapeno peppers, freshly chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.

For those looking to celebrate Cinco de Moe’s at the office or at home the week of May 5, Moe’s offers one-of-a-kind caterings filled with flavorful options that please even the pickiest of eaters (vegetarian, gluten-friendly, lower calorie). Check out for more information.
